Which Procedures Are Right For Your Full Mouth Reconstruction?
Dental implants are anchored in the jaw to support natural-looking restorations that can replace a single missing tooth, several missing teeth, or the entire upper or lower dental arch. Thanks to our in-house CEREC® milling system, we can provide same-day implant-supported crowns or bridges for many patients. Implants are the most durable, long-lasting solution for tooth loss. Your restorations can last for 15 years with good care, and the implant posts can last for several decades.
A damaged tooth can significantly impact your ability to chew and speak comfortably. If left untreated, it can also suffer further harm, potentially requiring even more complex dental work or extraction. Capping a damaged or decayed tooth with a crown reduces your risk of additional complications while restoring appearance and function. Our custom crowns are made from the finest materials, including porcelain, IPS e.max® ceramic, and zirconia, all designed to give you the greatest durability with the most natural look.
We can easily fill larger gaps in your smile with a custom-made dental bridge or denture. These prosthetics can make speech much easier and allow you to eat whatever you want. They also prevent your mouth from taking on a sunken appearance, preserving the natural fullness of your face. Whether you choose to have a removable or implant-supported restoration, we can create a high-quality piece based off your detailed 3D oral scans for a personalized, comfortable fit.
If you have mild-to-moderate dental decay, we can clean your tooth and seal it from further harm with a durable tooth-colored filling. Traditional fillings are made of metal, which can lead to temperature sensitivity, gaps caused by exposure to heat or cold, and even allergic reactions for some patients. The material used in a tooth-colored filling bonds to the tooth, so your dentist will not have to remove as much of your tooth structure for a seamless fit. Additionally, their natural color means that they will be completely unnoticeable in your mouth.
When the pulp within a tooth has become infected, a root canal may be necessary to avoid extraction. Contrary to popular belief, you will feel virtually nothing during your root canal thanks to modern dental techniques and technology. Your dentist can comfortably clean all infected tissue from the inner chamber of your tooth, sanitize and fill it with a stable dental-grade material, and fit the tooth with a natural-looking crown for lasting protection and a restored appearance.
The LANAP® protocol uses a gentle dental laser to treat even severe cases of periodontal disease. Dentists must be specially certified to perform this effective, comfortable alternative to invasive gum surgery. Because there is no cutting or sewing involved in LANAP, it results in less pain, less sensitivity, and an easier healing process than traditional methods. Studies have shown that LANAP is exceptionally effective in promoting the regeneration and reattachment of gum tissue.
Many patients choose to include cosmetic procedures, such as hand-finished veneers or professional-grade teeth whitening, as part of their treatment plan. Cosmetic treatments can further enhance the look of your full mouth reconstruction results.
Have You Been Told You Aren't a Candidate for Dental Implants? Redlands Family Dentistry Can Help
Dental implants are the only solution to prevent the jaw from weakening after tooth loss, but many adults with missing teeth are told they are ineligible due to existing jaw deterioration. If you're a patient at Redlands Family Dentistry, this doesn't have to be the case. We perform bone grafts and sinus lifts, two procedures that can prepare your jawbone to successfully support dental implants. We also offer All-on-4®, which allows select patients the ability to have a full denture immediately supported by just four dental implants.

Making Your New Smile Affordable With Insurance and Financing
Dental Insurance Coverage
Fortunately, most dental insurance providers will help cover the cost of restorative treatments. Dental implants are an important exception—while insurance will likely provide coverage for your implant-supported crown, bridge, or denture, it will not cover the implant posts and abutments. Any additional cosmetic treatments, like veneers, will not be covered either. We accept all major insurance plans and will review with your which treatments all eligible for coverage and which are excluded.
The cost of treatment without insurance may seem unmanageable, but it doesn’t have to be. Redlands Family Dentistry is ready to help you find a restorative solution that works for your budget. If you are uninsured or paying out-of-pocket, know that we accept financing through CareCredit®, a third-party lender that can provide low-interest or interest-free loans and break the cost of your treatment into smaller monthly installments to make payment easier.
